Florida Bass Fishing at its Best!       

Captain John Bechtold at Lake Istokpoga holding onto a 9 1/2 pound large mouth bass.  Just a sampling of the abundance of large mouth bass that live in the waters of Southwest Florida.

Captain John has been Bass fishing for many years as a fun fisherman, Tournament fishing and Guide.  He has great experience in waters, such as Istokpoga, Okeechobe, Toho, June and Walk-in the- Water.  Captain John’s Favorite Istokpoga with its expanse and huge bass being ready to be caught, it is always on the top ten list to fish.

Captain John’s code is to have fun and to make life long friends.

Captain John’s boat is a fully rigged, tournament rigged, tournament ready, 20’ ProCraft Bass boat.  The Captain carries all the USCG safety equipment and all the fishing equipment aboard.  You may bring your favorite Rod/Reel/Lure if you want or all will be provided.  Sodas, water and sandwiches are also provided.  Of course there are always plenty of Snickers aboard!  You may bring your own drinks but,

PLEASE NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED.

The Captain can either pick you up and take you to the ramp or meet you there.  Its your choice.
